Most teenagers read more blogs than books. They spend long hours in the Internet updating their myspace accounts, read gossip blogs longer than they should and watch youtube until the wee hours of the morning. It is funny to note that not-so-long-ago, books are the norm. People, young adults and adults alike, spend their leisure hours reading books and enriching their lives about different cultures which they can reach only through the comforts of the bound pages.
Young adults, nowadays, must be coaxed to read books, if not for school papers, teens wouldn't be reading any books at all. While nothing is wrong with spending a few short minutes on the Internet, it is better to develop intellectual bonds between a good book and the reader.
